Back in April we ran our Annual Members Survey asking for your feedback on the services we offer, including our online resources, tools and guides. Since then we have been working very closely with our Advisory Board to trial and test ideas on how we can improve and add value to our online service offering. So we are very pleased to launch our brand new website after months of hard work from the team and especially from our web designers, on-IDLE!

We have a dedicated area solely for members. You should find the website easier to navigate and use and be able to find the resources and information you need quickly. We have kept some of our most used resources but you will also see some new ones, and we will keep adding to this over time.

The CCCA network has a wealth of knowledge and experience amongst its members and our Annual Members Survey showed that members really value the networking and knowledge sharing opportunities that the membership provides. So we’ve responded to this by launching a new Members Forum where members can easily and conveniently share information and best practice and request help or assistance from the network. Next time you want new ideas on how to engage your staff members in your sustainability campaign, or when you’re looking for information on new energy efficient equipment, log on and ask your fellow members!

Another exciting addition to the website is our new CCCA Carbon Tracker which we will be launching in the coming weeks. This online tool will allow members to report on three sources of emissions (e.g. electricity, gas, vehicle fuel, water, waste) for their organisation. The tools allow your to enter in data as regularly as you like and has built in reporting functionality so you can generate and download your own reports. Analytics functions include energy and carbon tracking, degree day data overlay and benchmarking capabilities. There’s also an option to add to an anonymised database of emissions reduction projects to enable other members to see costs and payback for energy efficiency projects. You can upgrade to include further sources of emissions or sites or connect the tool to Automatic Meter Readers if you want. We will still keep our trusty Resource and Footprint Tracker (RAFT) tool for those who prefer to use that and there are resources and guides to help you track and report on your carbon emissions. After all, you can’t manage what you don’t measure!

Our new resources will be easier to find and include ‘Made Easy Guides’ on a range of sustainability topics, condensed case studies on member projects and other tools and guides. If there’s anything missing that you would like to see then please get in touch with the team and let us know.

So now all you need to do is log in with your normal work email, verify your account and have a look around and see how it works. We would love to hear your feedback on the new website, so please do get in touch with the team if you have any comments or queries.
