Camden Council is excited to announce a new fund to help improve your triple bottom line by cutting carbon emissions and lowering your fuel bills.

The Camden Climate Fund provides grants of up to £5,000 towards the installation cost of renewable technologies and/or energy efficiency improvements, such as solar photovoltaic panels, lighting and heating upgrades.

The offer is open to small-to-medium enterprises including sole traders and third sector organisations located within the borough of Camden. The maximum grant available is £5,000 per project and applicants will be required to match-fund 50% of the cost plus any additional amount over the maximum allowance. Applicants must have a turnover less than £25m per annum and are no more than 25% owned by a parent company that does not meet the fund’s criteria.

Pre-application is available up to Friday 15 December 2017. This will give you the opportunity to tell us about the measures you wish to install, the benefits of doing so and to check your company/ organisation’s eligibility.

Pre-applications will be assessed by the Camden Climate Change Alliance, and you will be contacted by Friday 5th January 2018 with regards to the outcome. If successful, you will be invited to submit a full grant application, the deadline for which is Friday 26 January 2018.
