Breakfast Roundtable on Climate Crisis – What does it mean for Camden businesses?

Events – Tuesday, May 28th, 2019

Wednesday 19 June 2019, 8.30am-10.30am (site visit 10.30am-11.15am). Camden Council, 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG

Would you like to input into how Camden should address the climate crisis?

Camden Climate Change Alliance member businesses based or operating in the borough of Camden are invited to attend a roundtable discussion on the climate crisis and how it can be addressed in the borough. The commercial and industrial sector contributes 60% of Camden’s total carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions; therefore, it is a critical part of any solution.

We are keen to hear participant views around business barriers, opportunities and actions required at a local and National level.

The roundtable views will inform discussions at Camden Council’s Citizens’ Assembly to be held in July, where an action plan for addressing the climate crisis will be developed by residents that will then contribute to the Council’s new Environmental Plan.

Breakfast will be provided.

Participants are also invited to attend an optional 45-minute site visit to the Somerstown decentralised energy facility following the roundtable

Places are limited so please register your interest by 7 June (including site visit attendance) along with dietary requirements by emailing camdencca@camden.gov.uk
