Winners! Camden & Islington Sustainability Awards 2019 Highlights

On 21st November the Camden and Islington Sustainability Awards celebrated the achievements of businesses, community organisations and schools who are leading the way on sustainability in both boroughs.
The Camden Climate Change Alliance and Islington Sustainable Energy Partnership led the first ever cross-borough sustainability awards. Held at London Symphony Orchestra’s Jerwood Hall and attended by almost 150 people, the first of its kind cross-borough event brought together organisations from across Camden and Islington.
The event was hosted by Natasha Friend, Director of Camden Giving with a number of organisations sponsoring the event. Winners were announced across eight categories and attendees had the opportunity to listen to leading keynote speakers. The keynotes provided the context and opportunities for collaboration:

Attendees also heard from leading businesses in each borough on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how to take practical action in your business:
