Join Councillor Adam Harrison plus others to learn more about the recently approved Camden Climate Action Plan at an online event on 2nd July 6pm-7pm.
The Climate Action Plan is the product of the UK’s first Citizen’s Assembly on the climate crisis which took place in Camden last summer. It provides 17 recommendations for the neighbourhood, home and Council to work on. These cover people, places, building and organisations.
Over three sessions, assembly members made up of Camden’s diverse residents considered evidence from climate scientists, environmentalists and community energy practitioners before developing their proposals on how Camden should address the climate crisis.
Councillor Harrison would like to invite you to this official launch of the Climate Action Plan. An update on the plan will be provided and includes what this means for Camden moving forward.
The event will also provide the opportunity to hear from a number of speakers on how aspects of the plan are already being practiced at the school, community and business level.
This session will provide the opportunity to ask question about the Climate Action Plan.
