Let’s shout about sustainability best practice in Camden

News – Thursday, April 25th, 2019

The Camden Climate Change Alliance is calling businesses, community organisations and schools in the borough to join us as we raise awareness around good practices that contribute to tackling urgent environmental issues such as air quality and climate change. The aim is to promote and share best practice so others can follow the example of those going the extra mile in the delivery of sustainable services and products.

We will be focusing our efforts on four key international and national campaigns, these are:

Clean Air Day, 20 Jun. Clean Air Day is a national campaign to help people find out more about air pollution, share information with friends and colleagues, and help make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone.

London Climate Action Week, 1 to 8 Jul. The first ever London Climate Week will bring together London’s climate expertise and talent from across sectors to focus on scaling up practical solutions and identifying new solutions to help cut our carbon emissions, keeping global temperature increases within 1.5 degrees and support the Paris Agreement.

Green Great Britain Week (GGBW), Oct. For a second year, GGBW aims to highlight the opportunities clean growth offers the UK and raise understanding of how business and the public can contribute to tackling climate change.

Join us and let others know about your good work

You can join us for one or many campaigns. Perhaps you just what to use the relevant hashtag on your social media messages or deliver a staff engagement campaign. Perhaps you want to open your premises to showcase your project or write a case study to share a success story. However much or little you want to do, we would like to hear from you. The more we are the better the story will be and the more we will have to learn from one another.
