Is your organisation leading on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Camden? Would you like to be part of this new SDGs for Camden Leaders Group?

Model My City – SDGS for Camden and Camden Climate Change Alliance would like to invite organisations with expertise in implementing the sustainable development goals across the borough to express interest in being part of a leader’s group.

Model My City is a local community interest company bringing together multi-stakeholders with citizens at the heart to co-produce sustainable lifestyles and borough – “not for self, but for all”.

It seeks to use the framework of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – (no poverty, quality education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, climate action, sustainable cities, clean energy, partnerships for the goals etc) to bring citizens, local organisations and the local council together to explore SDG related challenges and opportunities and act as a model for other boroughs and cities.

Broad aims of the #SDGsforCamden Leaders group include:

  • Sharing of best practice activities in the borough through case studies and events
  • Input into local guidance on SDGs
  • Identification of projects

Further terms of reference will be considered at the initiation meeting being held during London Climate Action Week.
