New Travel Plan Guide for Business

Businesses, News, Third Sector – Wednesday, April 14th, 2021

A new Travel Plan Guide for Business developed by CCCA and Camden Council has been released. As we leave lockdown and return to our workplaces, it is important that we continue to build upon the good work that has taken place to lower emissions and work towards a green recovery.

Having a travel plan for your business will offer better insight into how members of staff currently travel to work and will help to encourage staff and external stakeholders to travel to and from work more sustainably. It can help your business be more sustainable and cost effective.

A business travel plan will help you to:

  • Promote sustainable travel to and from your work building
  • Reduce congestion on Camden roads
  • Reduce your travel costs
  • Reduce the impact your travel has on the environment
  • Raise awareness of sustainable travel within your workplace
  • Show your organisation’s commitment to addressing the Climate Emergency

Within the guide there is a section to explain what a travel plan is, how it can benefit your company and how to format your travel plan. There is also a travel plan template included within the guidance document. Download the CCCA Travel Plan Guide for Business or find it in the CCCA Member Resource Library.

Lowering pollution and emissions through travel is a key aspect of the Camden Climate Pledge and by joining the pledge we can support you in reducing your business transport emissions and tackling other air quality issues. You’ll also receive invitations to webinars, events and wider projects. Contact the CCCA today for more information.
