Are you situated in and around the Greater London area and wonder what a zero-carbon commitment looks like? Join the Greater London Assembly (GLA) this London Climate Action Week (LCAW, 26th June – 4th July) to discover how London businesses are on the journey to net-zero in the year of COP26.
On the 30th June 2021 at 14.00, the GLA welcomes businesses of all sizes and sectors to their LCAW summit, which will explore the innovative ways in which London’s businesses are accelerating towards net-zero and decarbonising the economy. It will also provide inspiration and practical case studies for London businesses. Speakers include the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, the Director General of the Confederation of British Industry, Tony Danker, and leading London Businesses in decarbonisation.
London is a leader in climate action and businesses understand that net-zero goals need to be incorporated into the way we live, work and do business. Many of changes required to reduce emissions and keep global temperatures below 1.5C of warming must be made in cities, and they must be made in the coming decade. Businesses will be central to shaping a just transition to a net-zero economy post-pandemic, finding solutions and driving job creation.
