Join Camden Council and the Camden Climate Change Alliance for their upcoming webinar as part of the Retrofit Webinar Series, to focus on how Camden businesses can tackle both the retrofit challenge and climate crisis.
The Webinar will take place Thursday 25 February, 2:00-3:00 PM and will feature a guest speaker from Buro Happold.
Local businesses and institutions in Camden account for 66 per cent of the borough’s emissions therefore reducing energy consumption is key to helping Camden tackle the climate crisis and achieve it’s net-zero carbon target by 2030.
Retrofit means modifying an existing building with equipment and technology in order to make it more energy efficient, meaning it can therefore be a valuable tool for complying with legislation, saving money, enhancing business reputation, as well as helping landlords comply with the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards.
In this session, we will:
- Talk about the retrofit options available to businesses with a focus on how heat pumps can drive energy efficiency improvements.
- Explain the funding opportunities available to businesses via the Camden Climate Fund to assist with works
- Explain how your business can make a difference and take climate action by joining the Camden Climate Pledge
If you would like to submit any questions before the session, please submit these when registering for the event. Questions will also be taken during the webinar.
